Lucianne, better known by her stage name Luci Monét, is a singer – songwriter born and raised in Hackney, East London.

With her silk like vocals, flawlessly sexy persona and conscientious lyrics Luci Monét’s musical style of distinctive RnB and infectious house marks the arrival of a gifted and significant new talent.

It was in Hackney that Luci Monét discovered her talent of singing. At a tender age of 8, Miss Monét would join her older sister at church choir rehearsals, subconsciously soaking up the melodies and harmonies being created. At the age of 11 she joined her first gospel group also becoming part of a church choir. It wasn’t long after this that Luci Monét took part in the televised talent contest X Factor and from there started the pursuit of a career in music.

As a child Luci Monét’s creativity drove her passion for music, she explains “I started writing songs at about 10 or 11 years old, I would record them on a cassette player we had back then,” she laughs. “I always had the idea of posting the cassette tape to Sony Record Label as a demo.” Throughout her school and college years she formed other girl groups, was given the role of lead singer and started taking part in shows, competitions and university tours, this was when Miss Monét realized her love for performing live. From a young age, audiences have been drawn to Luci Monét’s magnetic and vivacious spirit which is transferred through her captivating writing style and uncompromising work ethic.

Luci Monét is a force to be reckoned with and definitely one to watch for 2017.
